IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!

Well, Ryan couldn't resist, he had to know!! I am so glad he did because I think it would have driven me nuts not knowing. We took the kids to the ultrasound and Abby was so excited and Jaxyn kept saying "No, its a brother!!" I felt so bad, because when we kept saying it was a sister he put his head down and said " Oh man". How cute is he!? On the way home Ryan said, " you know Jaxyn is going to love it, because he is always going to have older AND younger girls hanging around all the time!!" I just laughed so hard, because really how cool is Jaxyn going to be!!!! He will never be without a date! We now need help with a name! Please!! We all have 'y' in our names so far so trying to find another name with a 'y' in it is kind of been tough!

Where have we been?

Well since it has been a few months since I last updated this I have a minute and thought I should write about what the "Hale"! family has been up to. To start we are back in Utah finally for good this time(I Hope). The kids and I came back a couple months ago and Ryan just got back on the 1st of October. Living on the road was hard for all of us and so Ryan and I decided to try coming home. We are so glad to have family that has supported us through all our adventures and even now that we are back they are still there for us. Steph and Ben are letting us stay in their basement until we get a game plan of what we are going to do here. It has been so nice not to have to worry about finding a place right away. Thanks Steph! Ryan is working for his older brother at one of his EZIIRent To Own Stores here in Salt Lake until he finds something he wants to do. He is going to finish his last year of school at the U. I am so excited for him, he has wanted to do that for a long time. We are going to make some sacrifices until he gets his degree, but it is so worth it!! We are also expecting our third child and we are so excited! He/she is due in March and we are trying to decide if we want to find out what we are having by monday!! We have one of each, but it might drive me nuts not knowing!! I will let you all know what we decide! I will get some pics of our adventures on here ASAP. I am watching Steph's kids and mine while everyone works, but me and I am a little distracted these days. I have lots of little stories to tell and am getting more and more with all these kids!!! Can't wait to read what everyone is up too and write you all! Love you all for all your support!!

Memory Lane

1. Add a comment of a memory you have of us together. It doesn't matter if you know me very well or just a little, it can be anything. It can be a recent memory or from way back. Once you leave a comment I will assume you are playing too.
2. Add these instructions to you own post and wait for the memories to start rolling in.

I don't have my computer, it is getting repaired and all my pictures are on it. So I thought I would do the memory game Steph started. I think it is fun to read memories other people have and I am a little nervous to hear some you have about me!!! I hope to see more people doing this so I can write memories I have about all of you!! We are in Pennsylvania right now and the kids and I are going to Gettysburg tomorrow! I will let all of you know how it is!! Miss you all and can't wait to read your memories!

Me and my angels!

My kids new thing is making funny faces! As you can tell I'm not very creative. Jaxyn is doing the "hi, my name is chubby" face. He is a ham. Abby is doing a face Ryan taught her and was very proud that she could do it! I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to be home with them all day long without going crazy, but we are doing just fine!! I love my kids and would do anything for them. They are the light in our lives and the Lord chooses very wisely who he sends to us. I love them and love the time I have been able to spend with them since we came out here. We are getting ready for a new adventure; we are moving to Baltimore, Maryland on wednessday. I am so excited. I can't wait to go touring all that history up there. Ryan says that Washington D.C. is only about 30 minutes from where we are going. I have never seen that part of the U.S. and I can't wait! Abby doesn't want to move unless we are moving to Roy. She is so funny. We will have so many new pics to share this summer. Yea!!!!

Golfing

My cute little golfers!! There is a tiny, one hole in the back of our complex and Ryan took us there the other night for Family Home Evening. He was so cute with the kids. We just let the kids play and I took pictures while Ryan practiced his swing. The green wasn't very nice, but we had fun just the same. The kids love golfing, they get that from their dad. One little problem is that Jaxyn is left handed and even though Ryan is, he golf's right handed. This is a little frustrating for both of them, but we will figure it out. I hope!!! I don't want Jaxyn to give up just because we can't help! He is such a go getter I think he will just do his own thing and get it one way or the other. Abby is a natural at any sport and she is getting so good at golfing. I am going to put her on the PGA next year that's how good she is. Its about time she starts earning her keep around here. Momma needs a new pair of shoes!!!

Jaxyn is the Cutest!

Ok, so we were cleaning up and I asked Jaxyn to get his Power Ranger's and car's picked up and put them in his bag. He replied "Mom shhh Power Ranger's are swepping!" I followed him to where he had put them to sleep!! He just follows his big sister. She always puts her dolls to sleep so why can't Power Ranger's and his Rainbow Frog take a nap? He is the cutest isn't he?!!!

Like father, Like son!

These two are one in the same. Jaxyn loves to be just like daddy. Yesterday we had a fun day spoiling Ryan. He loves fathers day because he gets to be pampered! The kids had fun playing all day with him. We played games and watched Golf and of course the finals game was on as well. Come to think of it this is pretty much every night at the Hale home. I think we need to make every day "Mother's" day instead of every day being "Father's" day. I guess that comes with the territory. I love this picture though because they are so much a like and I love how close they are. Ryan really is a great dad to our kids and they love being with him. As much as I miss my family back home, having my family together out here is so nice. We love it!!!! We had a great day yesterday as I hope everyone did!!

Family

Family is so important in all of our lives, yet we tend to take advantage of those we love the most. I love this picture, I just wish Ricci was in it. We had gone to dinner at El Matador, my fav, and then headed over to the park and let the kids play. I think we had more fun there than the kids did, and they had a lot of fun. I will forever remember this night. You go about your day to day activities and worries and the phone call you miss doesn't seem too big of a deal , you can always call back later. My family is so strong and close. They all have been a rock and an inspiration to me my whole life. We Smith's tend to stick together no matter what, something our mom and dad imbedded into us since we were little. I have so many memories as do all of us of family, through good times and bad. I have been lucky to have such a family that not only includes my immediate family, but a bunch of extended and friends that are just as close as family and in my mind just as important. I plan on sharing stories of such family and I love these blogs to share them with my family. Well that's my soapbox for the night. I was just having one of those days where I needed to share my feelings. Aren't you all lucky to be apart of it!!!!

Boy, am I in trouble!!!

Ok, I have to tell how cute my teenage, I mean my 4!! year old Abby is. I wish I had my camera when we were at the pool today. She was in her hot pink swimsuit, floaties and she was looking hot. Well she decided that the three cute 7 year old boys were having way too much fun. So, she decided to join them. To get their attention she ran and yelled "CANNON BALL" as she jumped in the pool by them. They got a kick out of that. They then decided to see what else she would do. They all got out, and Abby followed, and started doing different jumps off the side of the pool. She was not about to let the boys out do her. She did a front flip!!!! Yes she did and the boys were very impressed to say the least. So for the next half hour she did every belly flop they did, back flop, twist or what ever else they did, she did. Their moms were dying laughing, I was just dying!!!! Where did she come from? She is FOUR and I am already worried. She looked so cute I wish I had my camera. We had a very fun day at the pool.

We had such a fun weekend this weekend. Ryan had Saturday off so we watched movies on Friday night and then on Saturday we went to the pool. The weather was nice and we had a lot of fun. Then Saturday night we had a little glich!!! Ryan and I were watching a movie and the kids we thought were watching a movie in our room. Little did we know they were conspiring to ruin our night. And boy did they. Jaxyn came out buck naked and had a handful of pillow stuffing. Yep we went in there and they had pulled apart a pillow and had the fiber stuff all over the bed, floor, everywhere. I didn't know you could get that much stuff out of a pillow. I of course was glad Jaxyn's little but was bear cuz I paddled him a good swift smack on it(just one) and then spanked his accomplis and sent them to bed. It took Ryan and I a good hour to get it all picked/vaccumed up. Lesson learned!!!! GET A BABYSITTER AND GO OUT!!!!
They did look cute for church though!!!!!!

New friends!

We have met some really nice people here in South Carolina, and even Atlanta. The kids were invited to a birthday party from a girl in the ward. They had so much fun with swimming, a treasure hunt and cake and icecream. When we were in Atlanta, some friends of ours has a little girl just younger than Jaxyn. She is a doll. The kids loved all of her toys(since we left all their toys in Utah) and we had a bbq one night and the next we took them Chili's(kids favorite!!)

Sunday, May 25, 2008

Ok, so this is what happens when you sleep in and miss church. I felt so bad anyway when we missed this morning and the kids were so sad. We had a rough night with the kids waking up and switching beds and I ended up in bed with Jaxyn, Abby in bed with Ryan. So at about 8pm when the kids were supposed to be getting pj's on they both came out in their church clothes and Abby had done both of their hair. I just laughed and cried all at the same time. It is safe to say we won't miss church again!!!!

Havin fun in South Carolina

We are having a fun time here in South Carolina. We have gone to the Zoo, Chucky Cheese's(we have gone 3 times-the kids love it). We have a forest in our back yard next to the park which is fun. It has been raining the last few days and the kids are getting restless, but the weekend should be nice weather so we will have a lot of fun outside. We will keep you posted on our fun holiday weekend.

I took this picture from Steph's blog. I just watched "High Society" with old Blue eyes. Loved it. I love old movies and the music in them. I would have to say they are my all time favorite movies. Ryan thinks I am loopy!!! I watch them when he is out of town or asleep. The funny thing is Abby is starting to get the bug. She will watch them with me on occasion. I guess I am keeping the tradition going. My mom used to watch them with us and now Abby is watching them with me. I am so proud!!

Me and my Family

Ryan and I met through a friend of mine when I was working at Delta Airlines on May 4th. Our first meeting was in the parking lot of Slim's in Woods Cross. We sat there until 4am, just talking. I made such a great 1st impression that he called me everyday after until we were married that December 7th, 2002. We have traveled the states, well the south anyway, had two of the cutest kids in the world, and tried to do the 5Buck pizza thing since that day. Abby is 4 and Jaxyn is 2. They are best friends and I love it. Ryan is doing cell tower work right now in South Carolina so we sold our house in Roy and moved out to Greenville the end of March. We are getting use to the "southern hospitality" and having fun meeting new friends. We miss our family in Utah, but are happier to be with Ryan. I hope to keep up on this blog to let our family and friends share in our adventures.
